People get ready! Steven Cerio is making the trek to the west coast next week to present his film The Magnificent Pigtail Shadow in person in Los Angeles and San Francisco, and also to do an extended signing at Mission: Comics & Art.
On Monday, November fifth and Wednesday, November seventh, Steven will be appearing at the Downtown Independent in L.A. and The Roxie in S.F., respectively, to host a night of his films. Along with the main feature – the Magnificent Pigtail Shadow, there will also be a couple of shorts, a Q + A with the artist and opportunity to get books, prints, toys and other Cerio goodness signed.
Steven Cerio’s unmistakable style set the stage for the neo-psychedelic revival. His work has appeared in countless television shows, magazines, posters, and comic books; and, has been shown in galleries worldwide. His previous film work for performance pioneers The Residents is in the permanent collection of The Museum of Modern Art in New York. The Magnificent Pigtail Shadow is his first solo film.

The soundtrack album to The Magnificent Pigtail Shadow will be on wide release later in November from Wow Cool. Copies will be available at these events. A special limited edition DVD of the film with screen printed booklet, exclusive posters and other items will be available as well. All sorts of Steven’s art and music can always be found in the Wow Cool shop.
