The twelfth edition of Robert Crumb’s notorious underground comics anthology Weirdo is the “Special Loser Issue”, with stories by and about Rory Hayes and Ken Weiner. Crumb contributes an 8-page Mode O’day story. Editor Pete Bagge gives us the classic “Sour Grapes” – The Wacky World of Ken Weiner and Peter Bagge. Zippy creator Bill ‘Griffy’ Griffith tells the chilling and surreal “Rory Story” in comics and also writes “Rory Hayes, an Appreciation”. Rory Hayes’ 9-page opus “The Keeper of the Mind” closes out the issue.
