Description

THIS IS IT! THE BIG SHOWDOWN! The IWAH kids have come together after many trials and dangers to the citadel of the evil Red Wizard only to face his violent wrath. Robot Tod, Leon Fireglove, Gato Gris and all the rest battle for their life in this climactic issue.

It Will All Hurt by Farel Dalrymple (Prophet, Omega, Pop Gun War, The Wrenchies) is a weird, sad, silly, and sketchy, fantasy adventure strip with magic and science-fiction and some fighting action. IWAH is one of the coolest science-fantasy adventure comics you will ever read. While working on The Wrenchies, Farel started working on this unscripted side project set in the Wrenchies universe. Serialized on the Study Group Comics website, It Will All Hurt is an Eisner nominated, weird, sad, silly, and sketchy, fantasy adventure strip with magic and science-fiction and some fighting action.

In order to capture the beautiful watercolors Farel does for each page of IWAH, the book is printed in full color on high quality bright newsprint in an oversized “Golden Age” format (48 pages at 7.37″ x 10.62″) comic book with three color covers printed on cardstock.

"It seems to be an exercise in capturing the shifting settings and embodiments of dream reality, and it works (for me) almost eerily well. Even though he has a shelf of awards by now, Dalrymple still seems to me to be under-read and low-profile in the medium. He’s one of those creators that people should be talking about every day." Warren Ellis
