Description
Bernie McGovern is a cartoonist, puppet designer, animator, and teacher living in his native Chicago. His real-life adventures are documented in this comic. The DTs implied by the title literally drive his brain out of his skull on a trip towards a more balanced life.
McGovern is an Artist in Residence with the non-profit Snow City Arts Foundation, bringing school credit and art education to children while staying in Chicago hospitals. His puppet designs have appeared in plays by Actors Theatre of Louisville, The Neo-Futurists of Chicago, The Hypocrites, Dog & Pony, Sanculottes, and Drinking & Writing Theater.
