How much money can we raise together to help buy land for indigenous and black farmers in America? You got $10 for this? $20? Today, we celebrate the completion of two years of work, as Vice Cooler and Erica Dawn Lyle finally release LAND TRUST, the mutual aid collaborative recording project begun in quarantine. This is the record’s third single, “Lost In Thought”, an intergenerational collaboration of badass rock and roll ladies featuring @the_linda_lindas and Kathi Wilcox (Julie Ruin/Bikini Kill).

All proceeds will go to Northeast Farmers of Color (NEFOC) Land Trust an indigenous-led grassroots group who acquire stolen land to return it to indigenous and POC farmers. Please support this, repost, and share. Can we make a million bucks for black farmers? Yes, the world has certainly felt [pretty darn rough] of late but we hope you, too, will be inspired by the determined work of NEFOC to take back the land and grow a different future.

NEFOC is an Indigenous and POC-led grassroots organization that seeks to connect POC farmers to land to grow healthy foods and medicines for our communities. We plan to accomplish this by acquiring and returning land to Indigenous nations and respectfully connecting Black, Asian, Latinx and other POC farmers and land stewards to land while centering and respecting Indigenous sovereignty.
