New Books and Comics: March 31, 2018

As the month comes to an end, we are getting ready to launch some exciting new April sales and articles and have begun preparation for Free Comic Book Day Cupertino. This past week, we were happy to announce that Yancey Labat, artist of DC Super Hero Girls, will be Wow Cool’s special guest at the event and will be signing and sketching for the kids. Additional guest cartoonists to be announced soon.

Indie comic highlights this week include Berlin #22–the finale of Jason Lutes’ 20-year long comics masterpiece, the monumental Saga #50 by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples, Flayed Corpse And Other Stories by Josh Simmons combining “abomination and hilarity,” and our favorite new find, the beautiful, Over the Garden Wall-invoking The Lost Path by Amelie Flechais.

Yesterday we also received a massive shipment from acclaimed international Latvia-based publisher kuš! including Jesse Jacob‘s hard-to-find Mathematical Solutions for a Global Crisis, Roman Muradov’s new Resident Lover, a restock of Noah Van Sciver‘s His Last Comic and a plethora of new comics from international creators across Europe and Mexico.

This week marks the second week of our True Stories #3 pre-order which allows Wow Cool customers to get the new Derf comic at a discounted price, a week before the book hits shelves.
