Steven Cerio comes to San Francisco’s Mission today to do an extended signing session at Mission: Comics & Art from 3-6 pm and to screen his film The Magnificent Pigtail Shadow at The Roxie. We just got in copies of the soundtrack CD for the film, which features narration from Kristin Hersh (Throwing Muses) and music by Steven Cerio with Dave Rick (King Missile, Yo La Tengo), Michael from Dustdevils, Jason Martin, Marc Arsenault, and many others. The CD also features eight bonus tracks from the soundtrack sessions, with 19 songs in total. The album will be available at both events (several weeks before the official release) along with both Atlantic Drone records, many Cerio comics and prints (including several for the Residents) and the limited edition DVD of Magnificent Pigtail Shadow with a screen printed booklet.
