The Boomerang Project has been created to release previously unseen music and writing by the late James Kopta. There is a special section in the DeptEx shop devoted to James’ work. All money from the sale of these items goes in to the Boomerang fund. Now you can also support the project by doing your online shopping through iGive. Most importantly! Anyone who has unreleased copies of James’ music, writing or art is urged to contact us. We are also actively seeking extra copies of his records so that we can keep them available.

Much work has gone into preserving his legacy. The first physical evidence of this will be the Exploding Corpse Action CD out in the Fall from Armageddon Records. A large archive of James’ music, art and writing will be posted to this website in the near future. CDs, Books and DVDs are planned for the future. In the meanwhile, while digging through old computer files for the Boomerang project, we stumbled upon some forgotten video footage that James worked on. So, now the world can see “Start/Stop” and “Kabloobie” in all their glory.
