Word comes to us this evening via Davey D on his Twitter feed that Hip-Hop pioneer Rammellzee has died at age 49. As originally reported on Consequence of Sound. UPDATE Rammellzee’s death was confirmed by his wife, as reported in today’s New York Times. I was very lucky to see him perform at the Kitchen [...] [...] 
I totally missed this one. Ran across it at a South Bay Barnes and Noble. It was released this summer. A seriously high production quality volume packed with astoundingly clearly shot and reproduced photographs, thorough documentation and attribution of works and a stellar set of contributors. There can be many books of San Francisco street [...] [...]
