Celebrate PI Day with nickname: Rebel

Wow Cool is celebrating PI Day with the release of Ouroboros, the debut single and accompanying video from nickname: Rebel. The ancient symbol of a snake devouring its own tail is represented here by throwing an aggressive repetitive 5/4 jazz beat against blaring guitars and electronics. A celebration of loops and shifting juxtapositions (only 2 loops are actually used in the piece). A sonic attack of repetition against the bane of routine. Executed by Marc Arsenault (Wow Cool, Brown Cuts Neighbors) and Joshua Baker (Offset Needle Radius, God Hates Computers, Chased and Smashed, Sawhorse). Ouroboros was made in collaboration with Offset Needle Radius as a warm up for our upcoming record and tour in Spring, 2009.

Available now from most major online music outlets worldwide.
Maxi single with two bonus tracks available via Bandcamp.
